So clutch Dimitrov, that second set tie break was outstanding.

So will the F be Dimitrov vs. Kyrgios or Dimitrov vs. Ferrer??

Grigor played some really nice shots in the 2nd set tiebreak, some of them were at Isner's SPs too, especially the one at *9-10, what a BH.

Grigor I love you! Such tremendous effort overcoming the second set tiebreak. I was surprised Isner played that well, so Grigor really earned it. Haven't seen that grit since his AO run.

Congratulations to his fans on his first masters final. Hope he takes the title.

Re: Cincinnati FF: Dimitrov VS Isner 7-6 7-6

So once again, Bloptrov or what ever his name in a final hasn't beaten any player above his ranking while being#13 or #12 or something... And this time it was a 1000

Good for him. I'm sure the younger kids behind him who already have a way better career will shit and wet their pants.

Diva saved tennis today. We did not need Isner in another masters final

Re: Cincinnati FF: Dimitrov VS Isner 7-6 7-6

The TB of the 2nd set was unreal, both players would've deserved to win. Great quality. I couldn't believe that shot Isner hit to get the MB back and make it 4-4, but Dimitrov played even better in the following point. Then at 9-9, Isner hit a great defensive lob, had Dimitrov on the ropes, but wasn't incisive enough on the forehand, Grigor took advantage to hit a very good looking, but honestly not that difficult DTL. Then in the next point, Isner missed a forehand in the 3rd or 4th match point, after a very good low return by Dimitrov.

I think Dimitrov was better throughout the match, but Isner played great after any 0-30 or 15-30 Dimitrov got.

Dimitrov finally reaching a M1000 F. I'd say big favorite against Ferrer and bit underdog against Kyrgios.

Re: Cincinnati FF: Dimitrov VS Isner 7-6 7-6

That 2nd set TB was dramatic as fuck lol.

Epic stuff from both players there. Isner played well overall I felt, he really wanted this, Dimitrov just a bit better on the bigger points. He was really focused today, played so well on the big points. Very happy for him. Finally makes a MS final! Awesome.

Hopefully he takes it in the final. But in any case great week for him, nice to see him finally take advantage of the depleted field

Absolutely, it was off the charts. Tennis really doesn't get any better than that.
