It's not a cause for pride 'cause he is the incarnation of the ultra-physical game promoted by the ATP in the last 15 years.
Among the all-time greats, Nadal is surely the most injured player in the history of the sport.

Re: Rafael Nadal "I had more injuries than Djokovic, Murray, Federer combined"

Not true. Nadal had 4*0,5 significantly injury-affected periods since his ascention to top (2nd half of 2009, 2012, 2014, 2016) + add another 0,5 max for short-lived injuries such as the AO 11 one. So about 2.5 seasons.

Djokovic: 2011 post-USO (~0.25) + 2nd half of 2017 (0.5) = 0.75
Federer: 2005 post-Bangkok (~0.2) + most of 2013 (~0.7) + most of 2016 (0.8) = 1.7
Murray: 2013 post-Wimbledon (~0.4) + most of 2014 (~0.7) + most of 2017 (~0.6) = 1.7

1.7+1.7+0.75=4.15>2.5

Re: Rafael Nadal "I had more injuries than Djokovic, Murray, Federer combined"

Rafa's win-lost on tour, according to Wiki, is 854 won; 182 lost.

Since he only loses when injured, I assume one must extrapolate from those figures that he was injured 182 times.

QED (or not)!

Just because Fed/Murray/Djokovic do not talk about it, doesn't mean they are healthy the whole time.

There is a video on Youtube, for some reason I can't find it anymore, in which Fed is interviewed by Ljubicic, long time before he is his coach. Ljubicic asked Roger if he ever retired during match, and Fed revealed that he had some injuries during some matches, which were never known to the public at the time.

Nadal is still playing and winning big for devil knows how many years ahead. Meanwhile, the guy in your avatar was done at 30. Sounds like he suffered more in the end.

Re: Rafael Nadal "I had more injuries than Djokovic, Murray, Federer combined"

A proper injured player is actually someone like Del Potro, that guy knows much better about injuries than you Nadal. There are many better examples.

Nadal and his camp should honestly just keep their mouth shut. Only nonsense comes out from their mouth nowadays. Federer running away with the slam count and those 3 wins this year has really made them bitter, just like most Nadal fans as well
