Another meltdown for Robin. I really could have done with more swearing and less tanking in the 3rd set though as I stayed to watch what I hoped would be a close 3rd. He was pretty subdued in that third set after blowing the match point though, probably satisfied with the Montreal paycheck.

It was NID he was losing the tie break, which is actually a shame because he was as the score indicates the better player in the first two sets.

TBHaase. For some reason I am annoyed by Mannarino of late (and not by his own doing), starting from when he beat Lopez in Wimbledon (where I thought the Spaniard would have a great run). His game sort of annoys me and he always looks awkward to me. Not only that I feel he defeats player who had these dream runs/great stories, with him being defeated quite easily by the first consistent player where he seemingly has no belief to win them.
