Re: Fernando González the strongest rigth of the tour

Not Chilean by any chance, are you? Anyway, I strongly hope that neither of your predictions come true. In their different ways, both are too horrible to contemplate (especially the latter).

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Why would you want those drugs Frooty_Bazooty??

Massu top ten and Gonzalez giving Federer a double bagel are frightful hallucinations .

I miss: Ivan Lendl, Korda, Novak, Bruguera, Rios, Kucera, Courier, Mantilla, Costa, Santoro and Ferreira.

Good luck to:

Gaudio, Murray, Florian Mayer, Chela, Nalbandian, Radek Stepanek, Volandri, Youzhny and Verdasco.

Re: Fernando González the strongest rigth of the tour

hey guys!! Hewitt needs to defend the title, Paradorn Srichapan cuarter and Massú nothing, so 12-2=10. It´s just matemathics. Desagree?? you should learn a little about tennis.........
Gonzalez is going to beat Federer, not 6-0 6-0, but 6-0 6-1....you will see......

Can't see Gonzo handing out a double bagel, but I could see him giving the Fed a concussion.

Re: Re: Fernando González the strongest rigth of the tour

Srichaphan doesn't need to defend anything BTW, he lost in the first round last year to Cousin Vinny (who most certainly does have points to defend). Combine that with the fact that Henman only won a round last year and has quite a good draw, and those two should be blocking Massu's entry to the Top 10, thank goodness.

The great pato_mendoza is right.. Massu is gonna be top ten.. that is obvious.. he only has to defend points in the second half of the year..

An Federer.. humm.. all roger fans thinks that he is already in the final.. but he has to face Pavel first.. and if Gonzo goes to R3 he will meet Federer.. and if he is playing like he knows, Roger is gonna suffer very much ..
Gonzalez is able to destroy a numer one again..

Well, I'm sure he's a very pleasant fellow off court and all, but on the court his game is, well... as dull as death. His idea of constructing points is to plant himself four feet behind the baseline, run round his backhand and whack off-forehands all day with huge topspin while grunting "Huuuurrrrrrhhhh!!!!!" and in between points shouting frantically "Vamos vamos vamos vamos vamos VAMOS!!!!" (and then making a lame error on the next point). He is a nightmare, and I call him the Raccoon because some commentators over here mentioned that his ponytail reminded them of one.
