PMK sucked bad in the second set.. UEs all over the shop.

Still if Boredo was going to win a set against any player in the whole TMC, PMK was always the most likely victim.

I am BUOH, warrior of heart and soul.

Robredo should have won it in 2. And what was he doing in that game at 1*-2 in the third set? Two unbelievable misses at the net. It was all downhill after that...

Tommy

What does it matter that he won a set? Who won? All right then.

Go PMK!

Goran just recently said that there's something wrong with men's tennis when Robredo makes TMC. Apparently the guys on the seniors tour think the regular tour is a joke.

Goran's just great. Yeah, there are a lot of wrong things in mens' tennis nowadays.

Not a good start from Kolya. I don't think he's adapted to the surface yet but at least he kept it together.

Robredo was the better player in the first set but he just couldn't hold his nerve. He looked a bit tired in the 3rd set.

Re: Davydenko def. Robredo, 7-6(8) 3-6 6-1

Davydenko was down throughout the 1st set and just kept pulling through. Solid third set after a shaky 2nd (though only 1 break in the 2nd).

The transparent jealousy of the Robredo haters is pitiful. Don't hate Tommy because he's beautiful, he can't help it.

It is not surprising at all. It happens in every aspect in life. Older generations always think that the younger ones have it easier than they did. Times were harder, blah, blah, etc.... therefore the achievements of the younger generations are not as worthy as their own.

(Not everyone things like that of course, but that's the general feeling)

Oh yeah, it's so much difficult to play against Ljubicic, Roddick and Robredo than against Sampras, Krajicek and Agassi.

Ivanisevic ought to try and recall that the old ATP Tour World Championships in the 90s featured in its top 8 such luminaries as Nicolas Lapentti, Karol Kucera, Alberto Berasetegui, Emilio Sanchez and Karol Novacek

In short you do get players in the from time to time who haven't scaled any major heights.
