Rome QF: Isner def. Cilic 7-6(3) 2-6 7-6(2)

Isner in SF of Clay Masters

But kudos to him, Cilic was clearly better player and he managed to extend these 2 sets to TBs and made use of bad play of Cilic.

Before you post like a complete clown, you are aware he is still one of two players to ever take Rafa to 5 sets at the French?

Cilic was the better player throughout the match, but played like shit in the tiebreaks.

Isner in a 2017 Masters Clay SF

marin was pathetic in both tiebreakers. he literally donated both to isner, who really didnt have to do much of anything. throws away a great chance at a masters final.

Djokovic also did in 2013 but it isn't that impressive to be honest.

On topic, this match should be why tiebreaks should be removed and make sets winnable only by breaking the opponent's serve.

Congratulations, Isner!

I did not think that if Isner were to make a SF this year it would come in statistically his worst Masters event.

Don't be so mad dude, I quite like Isner. My intention was not to laugh at him, but at others who can't capitalize on Isner's game from baseline on clay. It just shows how bad competition is on clay this year.

I don't get your need to defend any comment that is against your view...we know MTF is full of trolling (although TF has it, only with less sass and GIFs ) and there is really no point in correcting people that probably doesn't want to be corrected. I mean let's be real, Isner's form here was kinda out of nowhere (he was #90 in the Race I think before this week), but it seems to be in pattern of his once/twice a year deep Masters runs, which could be annoying for some as some don't like his style and doesn't really capitalize it on a win.

Jizzner in the SF of the Rome Masters?

This is surely the first sign of apocalypse.
