Rome R2: [4]Nadal def Almagro 3-0 ret.

Please stay on topic of the match.

Edit: Twitter posts that contain material that would get an infraction here also has no place here. You can reference it all you want but please do not post it here.

Was it necessary to completely delete the other thread? If you had an issue with its contents why didn't you just lock it and forget about it.

I fail to see the point in opening a new thread. There's really not much to comment on a 3-0 ret. match.

I agree with the deletion of the thread.
Lots of bad behavior from some very unsavory people (and I'm not referring to the twitter quotes).

I like reading Slade's tweets here, I don't have a twitter so this is a convenient way to see his ruins.

Actually I feel if the person who is being tweeted and doesn't want his tweets to be posted here then we must respect that decision. I assume slade reported them and that's why his tweets were deleted from here.

Anyway since my posts were deleted I'll like to know what did @ne znam ali mozda reply to my post?

Slade is really complicated. First he hated Rafa, then Novak and now back to Rafa. And since his hero just beat Rafa to win his long-waited 18th slams, fixed the poor head to head and leaving little chance for others to surpass his record, so I find it hard to understand why he still hates Rafa that much ?

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Like I posted in the previous thread: Get well soon, Almugro

What happened here?

Anyway, the only comment about this match is:
It was NID that Almugro would not dare to put any fight whatsoever against his buddy Nadal.

Did not see the match but I'm wishing Almagro a quick recovery.

It is nice to see he is still capable of playing tennis at the highest level

Any news on Mugro's injury? From what I've heard on the radio he couldn't even walk off-court by himself.

I believe this is due to overprotection/possessiveness of Fed's legacy, combined with the fact that he enjoys the attention and just likes to make a spectacle out of everything.

It's highly entertaining.

Slade just wants Federer's legacy and slam tally to be secured at the top where it rightfully belongs.

Nadal is a man who is dangerously close to catching Federer's number. He is also the cause of many heartbreaks and slam losses for Federer over the years. Nadal also plays a brand of tennis which Slade deems to be a violation of the good spirit of the sport.

Djokovic is an interesting case. He has taken Nadal out of many tournaments and grand slams, evening denying Nadal a NCYGS. Things were going great until recently when Djokovic started to deny Federer of slam titles. He had overstepped his mark and was now interfering with greatness, an area of which he had no business.

Now that Nadal is back to his clay heights, he is looking very likely to add to his slam count. Djokovic is one man who can rise up and tame the bull from biting another La Coupe des Mousquetaires.

Take care.
