"Potato chip & Mother" for the first time...

The Polish tandem Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski (Polish nicknames "Frytka i Matka") qualifies today for the season-ending Masters Doubles in Shanghai Polish tennis has waited 21 years till now on player from Poland in Masters Doubles. The greatest tennis player in Polish history Wojtek Fibak, played in semi-final Masters-1985, by partnering Sandy Mayer (USA). Fibak won Masters Doubles twice: with German Karl Meiler (1976) and Dutch Tom Okker (1978).

Frytka i Matka highlights 2006
Winner (1): Bucharest
Final (5): Costa Do Sauipe, Barcelona, New Haven, Palermo, Basel
Semifinal (3): Australian Open, Acapulco, Metz

"Frytka" means "potato chip" in English and "matka" means "mother".
