You need a warning for that video even it's very short.

And if my memory serves me correctly it was on his second round match against Tood Wodbridge (AUS)

I have the ATP Show of that month on tape somewhere, that´s why i remmember some of it!

A service notice for Pete..

1995 Vienna Quarterfinal
Woodbridge def. Stich 2-2 Ret.
Stich didn't play any more tournament that year, but came back okay in January 1996 But I'm still shocked

From checking the ATP site, the match took place in the middle of October, he retired at 2-2, and he played again January 1 of the following year and won. So it was good it happened at the end of the season, if it had to happen at all.

ETA: Ah, you beat me.

Incredible that the same accident happened to Andrei Chesnokov two years later in Philadephia durning a match with... Todd Woodbridge!!!

It wasn't the same actually, because the bone of Chesnokov's ankle went through the skin something that didn't happen to Stich and Chesnokov was out for longer, but both were horrific accidents.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
