Paris 1R: Julien Benneteau def Fabrice Santoro 5-7 6-3 7-6(5)

What a match!

It was a fun match to watch. A lot of variety from Santoro as usual and Benneteau too came to the net when he had an opportunity to. Santoro had 4 MPs at 5-3* and served for it at *5-4 but Benneteau fought on.

I thought Santoro will take this one already with all those MPs...

Fuck, not again, Santoro. He just cant hold games when he is leading with a break. This happened so often this year, it's not funny anymore.

Boring player wins.

It was a cool match

Thanks God that Santoro won't face Feña his freaky style of play really worried me thinking in a match against Gonzo, so I was rooting for Benneteau today

A post that deserves to be on MTF Hall of Fame soon:

Pretty much. Not the game at 5-4 Benneteau played a great return game there but the MPs he had at 5-3 he played some really bad shots and then a DF in the tiebreak...

Really nice match to watch. Santoro should've won though.
