From Brisbane title run and first AO SF with opportunities to make his first slam final, to several loss slump to everyone. WTF

MC R2: Struff def. Dimitrov 4-6 6-3 6-2

A bit tired of Dimitrov tbh. Good start of the season but now again in slump mode. Just checks out mentally when his game isn't clicking. He doesn't seem to know how to play on slow HCs and clay anymore tbh. And just simply can't win ugly. Terrible performance but I'm far from surprised.

I really hope he doesn't intend to play any small clay court tournaments no point. Just plan for grass. And hope for the best in Madrid/Rome/RG but with zero expectations. Just give me one win at RG and I'll be satisfied seriously. Just that please Dimitrov, just one win at RG...

A real shame Federer isn't playing any clay tournaments, really miss his presence. He spoilt me so much in those 3 months

Struff played ok from what I saw in the 3rd set, but Dimitrov still broke himself like an idiot. Really should be winning these matches.

Dimitrov tried but was not enough to beat Struff. More of the same next week please

This life, which had been the tomb of his virtue and of his honour, is but a walking shadow; a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Very good match by Struff. He already played 3 (!) matches here while Dimitrov was rested.
But great fight and serve, good winners in sets 2 & 3. Struff looks fitter than ever, very good.
Nice results this year so far for him.

Dimitrov had his moments at this tournaments in other years, this year he was bad/flat,
no fight at all in set 3, no plan B, no clutchness it seems.

he seems not to like damp and cold conditions and that he needs 4 off seasons per year...

And Struff played his first Qualifiying round just about 24 hours after his defeat to Kohlschreiber in the Moroccan heat.

This is outrageous. I gave Dimitrov the benefit of the doubt after his epic AO performance. But enough is enough. He's playing shit ever since. Disgusting to watch.

So screw him. Maybe Thiem, Zverev or (god help me) Kyrgios can step up instead. I'm done with Dimitrov.
