lol, Gonzalez was down 6-2 in 3rd and fish choked it away, although Gonzalez did the same when serving for the match at 5-3.

Good win for Gonzalez next he plays either Del Potro or Bastl to games where he hsould be heavy favorite.

Gonzo special offer: Grilled Fish anyone?? Gonzo grills Fish 6-7, 6-4, 7-6(10-8)

What an amazing comeback from Gonzo in tie-break from 2-6, after wasting chance to serve out the match@ 5-3.

If he wins or reach finals he should withdraw from Paris. He could get an injury or become Shangai's bitch without rest

Clever thread title!

Another close match (and 3rd setter) for Fernando. I hope he can get enough rest in.

Please don't say that !!! To be honest (and I hope that the Feña's fans will understand), I'd prefer him to lose in Basel and be in a good shape in Paris. I want to see him there as I live there

I agree Zine-Fena is in the injury "danger zone" IMO. but what is an ambitious player to do?

More heroics from Gonzalez to pull this one out - he's fighting so hard at the moment but I too am worried about his conditioning - arm and shoulder last week and foot this week.

No point getting into Shanghai if you're a physical wreck when you get there....

Great fighting performance warrior and he wants to defend his title in Basel, but hope he can make Shanghai.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I thought Gonzo would try to win easily, or otherwise tank, to save himself for the rest of the year. Nice fight though.

I don't blame you EF! And obviously many of us are worried about him getting an injury so worse things could happen.
