Almagro def Mayer 7-6(5) 6-4

Better performance from Nico today. He could do some damage now he is through to the quarters.
Says he was "pissed" when he found out that he didn't get the wc into Madrid, but now he is so over it and it showed in his game today.

Terrible line calls in that match(all of which were against Mayer).

Thumbs up Re: Almagro def Mayer 7-6(5) 6-4

He should have received WC in Madrid! His game is watchable!
I hope he keeps winning more matches!

Yes, he has an exciting game and can hit a lot of winners. You can certainly see why he was very upset about Madrid. Hopefully he can make up for it in Lyon.
