I don't know if this is accurate, but I spotted this at the St. Petersburg Open Website:
Nikolay Davydenko met with children
St. Petersburg Open 2006 first-seeded Nikolay Davydenko visited the Children`s house №32 on Tuesday. The player talked with the children over tea and told them of his successes. The children were interested in the trips that accompany the career of the tennis professional.
Nikolay said that since he is young and has the energy to travel much, he participates in about thirty tournaments a year. Davydenko noted he tries to plan his schedule in such a way that time zones and climatic changes would pass maximally painlessly. Nikolay visited practically all countries and continents; the only continent he did not visit is Africa. Though, Nikolay is not very enthusiastic about the idea of visiting the black continent. The private life of the player was not left disregarded, of course; Nikolay said that he was going to marry a month later.
His future wife is not directly related to sport, which is, according to Nikolay, is very nice.
The children were given memorable presents from the tournament organizers, they could also get an autograph of the world number five tennis player. The children, in their turn, wished Davydenko good luck on the tennis courts. They also promised to come to the tournament today to support Nikolay during his match against Fabrice Santoro.
