Don't jump to conclusions.

I remember in 2004 when he played Toronto he won the tournament beating Roddick in an awesome performance in the final and he had a pretty easy draw in Cincinnati.

Everyone wa saying "look what an easy draw, he is going to win this no problem". Result? He got knocked out in the first round by Hrbaty

I think no

He should be very tired.

In fact, he never win Basel title (it is wonderful that Roger win Tokyo and AMS Madrid titles first time)

Is it easy to win 3 consecutive first-time titles?

He's probably not going to drop a set again.

That's exactly what I am worried about, and I am not the constant worrier . But I have something at stake: I am flying in on Thursday.

Re: Basel too easy for federer??

He just killed Nalby & Gonzo last week. Though I do believe that Murrey upset him last time they matched up. But still, reallly, what tourney that's not played on Clay isn't "easy" for Ferderer.

The question is how will Federer, Nalbandian, and Gonzalez perform after just coming back from Madrid SF and F ??? They are likely not to be at their best. Roger looked kind of pale and sweaty as if he had a cold during the Madrid tournament. He was wearning a huge scarf around his neck in a post match interview.

Roger Forever !

So maybe it is more a question of fatigue and ability to switch sufaces and conditions and get used to that. I hope Roger can win this title as it means a lot to him and it would give him 250 Indiest points....putting him at 8,120.

Roger Forever !
