Will losses to Nadal undermine Rogi's chances?

After losing to Rafael Nadal FOUR consecutive times earlier this season some people, even tennis pundits like McEnroe began to question Roger's claim to the No.1 position. By Wimbledon, these people were saying that if Roger had lost Wimbledon then his status as the world's best would only be due to a technicality...a glitch in the tennis matrix. Now given the amount of attention given to those FOUR loses, the question is whether these will overshadow the rest of his otherwise unblemished season. Will they cost Roger the World Sportsman of the Year Award for the 3rd year in a row ? Tiger Woods and now Alonso are in the running again, but I feel Roger should be given this award once more. 3 Grand Slams and 4 Masters is more than he achieved last year.

But then again they’ll probably give it to Michael Schumacher for all his F1 achievements.
