Re: Federer is going to play Miami. (from post-match interview)

He hasn't done well in Miami since 2006 which is a shame but with Djokovic and Murray out and the field the weakest it's ever been, I think he has a real chance of winning that too.

If he reaches QF or more, skip Montecarlo and play only Rome and RG. Madrid optional if he goes deep in Rome

That also means this is Nadal's best chance of winning Miami for the first time!

Real chance? It's practically guaranteed at this point! Who will stop him? Seems only an in-form Djokovic or Murray could trouble him at this point, and I'm not so sure about Murray.

But seriously, I would put money on him here if I was into betting.

Re: Federer is going to play Miami. (from post-match interview)

Federer hasn't had a deep run in Miami in forever. I don't think he can win it (but he has surprised me this year). He somehow always finds a way to lose there lol

I hope he can make the QF or SF and get some points. If he can get to the TOP 4 that would be excellent. Does he have to win the tournament to get there?

A: well , it means a lot to me obviously .. you know .. to see this dedication from my fans , and as a professional attacking tennis player , I know it was a pretty difficult situation after 6 months of absence, but you have to keep being positive whatever happens , ya know .. talking my way .. not HER way , and who knows .. I may be able to be #1 again and smack that ass

Well he did not win Miami since 2006 because of boss of IMG . I do not think field is weakest. Nishikori,Rafa,Goffin ,Raonic will play. You need to respect every player.

He has QF points from Montecarlo, so it would be great for him to get some points here. He won't see anyone ranked higher than Goffin before QF

Re: Federer is going to play Miami. (from post-match interview)

Going by past results, it's going to be tough for him to win in Miami. But who knows what's in store. Nadal might do it too. No clear favourite going into the tournament. Looking forward to tomorrow's draw now that Federer's made it to the top 4. Will be interesting if Nadal and Federer get pulled into the same quarter

He has lost to many other player over the years in Miami. It's not just Djokovic and Murray. It's not a guarantee that he will win Miami but of course he is the slight favourite.
