Co-Worker Feels That Players Try Harder Agaisnt Nadal!

Today after Nadal lost, a co-worker of mine who don't like Federer much (psssss, he's a huge Roddick fan, so you don't have to ask why) ; anyway he says that Nadal loses close matches because players try harder agaisnt him and then roll over and play dead when they're in a winning poisition agaisnt Federer. I told him he sound like those sore losers on MTF, always complaining when Federer wins a close match because they wanted him to lose. I told him Roger win most close matches because his way better then the rest of the field. But then I got to thinking; I have this cousin that any game we play agaisnt him, we try to win at all cost; not because we dislike him, but because we hate the way he acts when he's winning. He has a smirk on his face all the time, he makes smart comments, and the worse part, he does this stupid victory dance that makes him look like a chicken It's really irritating. He's really a very nice guy outside of any competition. Nadal is very close to Hewitt (eventhough his fan hate to admit it) when it comes to irritating his opponents. I know his fans think his on-court behavior is passionate & cute, but if you were the other guy on the other side of the net, it must be irritating. While Roger don't try to irritate his apponent by celebrating each good point. I do believe there's a certain truth to this theory because it's easier to lose to an opponent that's not so in your face. I mean, I don't believe that the players go around reading each others after match interviews, so on court behavior is probably what they're being judge on.

Anyway, don't flame me, it's just a theory!

I'm jealous that you have one co-worker to talk tennis with.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

These players play for money and they got the same amount whether they beat Nadal or Lisnard so throw that theory out.

We both going to get fired one day; we can't seem to stay off the net, in my case when Federer has an important match, and him when Roddick has an important match. He swears that I will learn to love Roddick because he's lovable! But even though we love 2 different players, it is great to have someone at work that love tennis as much as me!

You might be right. It's just that it's been mention so much that I got to thinking about it. Maybe a little to hard!

The money might be the same no matter which one you beat in a particular round, but a win against Nadal would do wonders for a player's ego and confidence, so I have to disagree. I think there is a huge difference; beating a top player is also a measure of your capabilities, especially when that player lost even though he was playing well. It means a lot, I assure you.

Of course they do.

Their illogical fear of Federer is the reason they can't beat down his ballet teniss.

Or Nadal is like a rival while Federer is girlish so you feel bad to try your hardest to beat him.

The ATP deserves a better class of player, and I'm gonna give it to 'em - Djoker

That must be it! Your rays of logic have shone down on me and rescued me from the depths of Fedtardness.
