I can't imagine that smashing your racquet against a hard court (while holding onto it) is good for your elbow...

This elbow is bothering him from last year - if it is necessary he should take months to heal this injury. It begins to look very alarming.

RAFA will have great chances this year to finally grab the Miami title

Wishing Djokovic a good recovery.

Re: Djokovic doubtful for Miami

Not good for tennis at all. All this things are pointing towards retirement. Novak is just not enjoying himself out there. Take a year off novak, go skiing then come back fresh.

The possibility of Federer becoming year end number 1

A: well , it means a lot to me obviously .. you know .. to see this dedication from my fans , and as a professional attacking tennis player , I know it was a pretty difficult situation after 6 months of absence, but you have to keep being positive whatever happens , ya know .. talking my way .. not HER way , and who knows .. I may be able to be #1 again and smack that ass

Re: Djokovic doubtful for Miami

If there's some risk he had better skip Miami and rest at home before clay season. Hopefully he'll be ok soon.

You do realize he was sick, right? Chances are that he'll be recovered by the time Miami rolls around and then we'll see what happens

Re: Djokovic doubtful for Miami

... Terrible news.Hope like hell it's nothing bad and he takes the court in Miami.Nadal will be perked up bigtime if he doesn't play as it gives him a chance to bag that elusive Miami title he badly wants.

If Novak doesn't play it'll be a 1910 point drop in the space of a couple of weeks. He'll almost have lost 10,000 points within a space of 10 months or so.

Re: Djokovic doubtful for Miami

Think it would be beneficial in the long run if Djokovic rests up at Monaco and trains on clay for a month to return at MC, his main focus should be on the slams this year.

Enjoy every moment of tennis. Enjoy the rise of the young, the brilliance of the peak, and the passion of the old. Enjoy dominance, enjoy diversity.

Fight. Drama. Shots. Epic matches, fun stats, tennis!

Re: Djokovic doubtful for Miami

Damn. I want Federer to meet Djokovic with his new backhand as soon as possible.

Injurys can always happen. But it could very well be that his body got more fragile because of his "new" diet.

Something tells me Djokovic has a very rough year ahead of him.

Federer & Wawrinka -> unstoppable Swiss power
