Yet another statistic to glorify James. Why 5 titles? Why not 6 or 8 or 4 titles?

I pity tennis statisticians.

p.s. Sorry NYCtennisfan

Yes in '03 and '05. I wrote it down as '03 and '04 for some reason.

I thought 5 sounded like a nice # to look up stats on and the fact that you can divide 25 and 35 (two of my favorite numbers) by 5 only helps its case.

BTW, I have another thread I'll put up sometime that has the numbers for consecutive years with 1,2,3....up to 12 titles.

Thanks for doing the stats, NYC. Winning 5 titles in a year certainly isn't easy, and if you take a look at the ones that have done it more than once, you can see that they are mostly slam winners, which is already a sign of greatness.

You're welcome. While his Slam performances leave much to be desired, 5 titles and 2 runner-ups in one season is quite an accomplishment.

Sure make a thread bashing Nadal or Fed. Then laugh and enjoy the insanity and random statements by all.

Ljuboho fans are quite touchy too. Gasquet can also made fun of for a fun reaction.

Don't insult Safin or you might get some death threats.
