Will Henman achieve his goal?

Tim Henman said over a month ago when he was ranked in the 60s that he expected to be seeded for the Aus Open. Now he has moved up a lot, what do people think of his chances of doing that. He faces Verdasco in Madrid who he should beat and then Ferrer in round 2. He has a good chance of making the latter of stages in Madrid IMO which will push him closer but i think he will just miss out on a Aus Seeding.

What do you think?

Re: Will Henman achieve his goal?

He probably could have done so already had he not drawn Federer in the second round of both Wimbledon and the US Open (and running into Murray all the time didn't help.)

He doesn't have much to defend until after the Australian Open so could manage it. His Madrid draw isn't as easy as you make out - Verdasco is a very good player (as is Ferrer)

Henman could do it, but needs to play very well from now until then.

Ivan Ljubicic has given Tigger Time an old fashioned spanking last four times they have played.

Why the trolling? If you have nothing better to say, I suggest not posting in this thread.

when one player has 6 slam semis and another has one fluke DC win, its not tough to see who has had a better career
