If the ATP was "The Contender", who would win?

With all the flaming the players throw out (like Ljubo saying someone else is complaining when they lose ) and all of Fed-Rafa's one-dimensional, etc. etc. crap, who does MTF think would be the best in the ring?

No doubt Federer and his skinny arms would be out in day 1. If Mirka was in the contest, she would surely advance farther. Nadal's big guns could help him in a few rounds, but a fast ring surface would be his downfall.

And another question: If all the players stayed in the same hotel and toured all the same gay bars, would the quality of fights be in the ring matches or the bar brawls?

I wouldn't want to get in the ring with Safin.

Roddick. Henman. Safin.

No doubt Hewitt would scratch and hair-pull his way through a few rounds, while Stepanek would administer the kiss of death to anyone who dares advance.

Re: If the ATP was "The Contender", who would win?

Calleri or Chris Rochus

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, he is a young Ali.

Probably Safin.

I'd like to see Hewitt and Gaudio fight each other.

Nalbandian vs Karlovic also seems interesting...

I did read it. All it was was Ljubo being ironic and saying that Roddick complains whenever he loses. then the thread (in typical MTF fashion) went off-topic so much so that Marc Rosset somehow got a reference

but thats not the point of THIS thread

see you didnt read it..

What Ivan said
Quote:
"I think everytime when you lose you have to complain of something," he said
does it say "he" or "roddick" in there?

MTF version
Quote:
"I think everytime he losses he has to complain of something," he said

he is talking about all players in general...it happens in every sport...doing a interview 5min after match or game..is the best thing to happen for journalist since sliced bread every player is pissed off after a lose...

IL said he was talking about Roddick, so I dont know why you're contradicting yourself.

but again, its pointless to argue with you in a thread not meant for it. of course, u must bring Ljubishit into every thread

If you put a quicker court in these conditions, it would be absolutely unplayable. If I cannot lose serve in 9 matches it means it is not slow, otherwise I would lose a lot of serves."
Ljubicic objecting to Roddick suggestion of quickening the court. Roddick lost today, and Ljubo thought he was complaining of the surface speed. Then, Ljubo uttered the complaining part which is very ironic in its own right.
