1st quarter: Djokovic could have a really easy or really hard path to the final. Klizan, Del Potro, and Kyrgios can be formidable when playing well but none of them are in the best of form. I wouldn't be surprised to see Djokovic cruise to the SFs here.

2nd quarter: There are some dangerous players here but Thiem and Goffin should still make it to the QFs and Goffin should get the win there since this is hard court.

3rd quarter: The most open quarter. Cilic and Isner are in questionable form. Johnson might be able to take advantage. Dolgopolov is here as well but he just retired from a match this week so I don't know if he's healthy. I think Cilic will make it through. He was pretty good at Rotterdam.

4th quarter: Nadal and Sock shouldn't have any issues making the QFs and Nadal will probably get the win there.

SFs:
Djokovic def. Goffin
Nadal def. Cilic

F:
Djokovic def. Nadal

So Rafa literally beat himself?

Nadal cannot and will not look past the first match.

M. Zverev just beat the world #1, Sir Murray, in a major no less.

RAFA will have to be ready for a difficult match.

Not really. Mischa described it well himself after losing to Federer. "He has much more spin on his shots while Andy hits it very flat..., It's difficult to anticipate with Federer what direction his shots are going... Federer has much more acceleration with his wrist..."

You can basically make all those arguments for Nadal as well and Nadal beat him comprehensively recently, something like 6-1 6-1, so let's not overestimate Mischa's chances here.

It's around 30 C. in Acapulco. There is always the beach if things are getting boring...

Maria hanging out...

Warmly,
