Battistone looks like he's playing volleyball. I also don't know why he uses a two handled racket - it would make sense if he played two hands both sides but he doesn't.
I don't think Dolgo's serve is weird in its action, it's just fast to hit the ball at the highest point of the toss up. Similar to how my serve is, I was always told to throw it higher but then it made timing more difficult.
I joined a new club a few years ago and many of the players were using that Jay Berger service motion. Afrer taking a lesson with the club pro I realized he was the one teaching it to them He must have been a big fan back in the day.
For some reason I shudder when I see Lorenzi making googly eyes to the ball before he serves. :lol:
