Haas barely moving at least since 3-2 first set, but someone managed to go up *4-3 in the second set. Basilashvili barely trying in the first set, afterwards looked a bit more motivated, yet rushing some service points. Haas also took a mid game medical at 4-4 15-30 second set, but somehow decided not to retire after losing serve in the third.
Haas could have won it in two, he got broken back, took an MTO for the hip and wasn't the same since there. Basilashvili even helped him with a DF in the TB, but he eventually took it. Granted, Niko has played lots of matches in the last two weeks and he would've probably played better if that wasn't the case, but still, it sucks that Tommy couldn't take this one having been so close.
Miami next, hope he can enjoy his retirement tour.
