Rio R1: Fognini def. Robredo 62 64

Fabio won 18 points in a row between end of set 1 and first game of set 2

how Robredo won 4 games in the 2nd set is a big mystery considering how bad he was

Finally a thread.
Fognini at 5% destroyed Robredo. Please step up Fogna, you won't play this kind of mugs in the next rounds.
Ramos next (h2h is 9-1), then Kicker/De Greef. Very easy draw, but he has to play better.

I can only imagine @Sicario was in attendance and the Fog dedicated his win to Fogmeister

GOATredo not as sharp today or as hungry. Clownini was a lot more motivated it seemed here.

Sadly no, I never attended ATP Rio, just Brazil Open (São Paulo) when I saw Verdasco playing.

I hope he somehow decides to care about the next matches though, this tournament looks wide open to me, he can pretty much win it all.

GOATredo was just too humble today and let Fog win, so GOAT can focus on important tournaments

KAndy for President

Approximately retired from mtf

He's having one more crack at RG. It's as open as ever this year, could at least better his best ever slam result or if we have shenanigans like in AO, could even win the whole thing...

Good. We need Fognini vs Bellucci in the final.

I disagree. The Fog simply has too much talent for Robredo

GOATredo is still a a legend though
