Goffin's tennis is very enjoyable when he is not afraid to go for his shots, but unfortunately he is too short and lacks the firepower to be an elite player.
For me, his career needs to be about maximizing his potential
, there are certain things he cannot change about himself, and thankfully for him - unlike many on this board - he believes there is more to tennis than firepower and height, and he doesn't fret to capitalize on what he has. As long as he keeps pushing his own boundaries which the players with easy power are less likely to do as they have abundant of that "talent", he'll wind up as a very unorthodox player who left his mark among the elite, and for me that's good enough. Top Ten is his singular, most worthy achievement to this date and no one can take that bit of history away from him.
