What will have Rafa have to do to get some respect?

How many Grand Slams will he have to win to get some respect from MTF?
Who will have to beat?
Which tournaments will he have to win?

I see overrated clowns like Gasquet getting respect but people don't respect a time GS winner. Weird.

The ATP deserves a better class of player, and I'm gonna give it to 'em - Djoker

I though passing shots and running a ball down is part of tennis. Go play bowling or some other crappy athlete sport like golf.

One thing is playing based on counter-attacking. Another is just passing the ball to the other side of the court and waiting for the opponent to miss.

It's never going to happen.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

Federer doesn't need respect. His ability and technique speak for themselves.

Depends on a lot of things. If he gets another Kendrick-Labadze-Crutch-Agassi-Nieminen draw, it won't.

Maybe a few. Most will go on about how the court is really just as slow as clay, or how easy his draw was.

Re: What will have Rafa have to do to get some respect?

Pete Sampras won 14 Slams, and there are lots of people on MTF that don't respect him.

So something tells me that Rafa will always have his detractors as well ...
