And you are right, the US are huge, I have just spent my summer traveling the eastcoast. But wouldn't it be great if tennis would be brought to people, who do not have several tournaments each year in their country like in the US or Western Europe.
These regions are so well developed tennis-wise, and I think bringing the TMC to a country like Brazil, South Africa or Argentina would be a great promotion for the sport in these areas as many people who NEVER had the chance of seeing a tennis match live (apart from the local club of course) would have the chance to do so.
They would feel as if the really "belonged" to this global, international and wonderful sport, whereas at the moment there is AFAIK
only four small tournaments in whole South America and only one tournament in Africa (!). So, hopefully the ATP will try to make the sport even more international.
