Not that good on clay LOL. You do realise that Murray hasn't lost to a non Djokodal opponent since 2014. So no he wouldn't lose easily to Federer if they met on clay. What are you basing this on?? Fed has been a non-factor on clay for a few years now.

Oh wow. Thanks for that tidbit, it must be something special to only lose to those two. Do tell me how great Murray is on clay.

He's been better than Federer the last few years that's for sure. No reason to think he would lose easily on clay if they ever met like you suggested.

Alright you keep thinking that. It'll be even more hilarious once Murray loses to Federer.

Re: Will we ever see a Federer-Murray match on clay?

I predict a big 4 sf clash at rg, one final one more for old times sake although it hasn't happened much,
Murray vs fed , Nadal vs Djokovic
Two epic 5 setters, and hopefully a maiden Nadal Murray slam final with LaDecima and #15 or Clayray equally Djokovics one rg being the poisoned chalice Nolefam must drink.

Re: Will we ever see a Federer-Murray match on clay?

Clayray only started to emerge and rise during the weakest ever clay era, on top of weakest ever era in general.

If there were the same age, Federer would have clobbered Clayray. No question.

But age gets exposed quicker on clay than other surfaces, so Murray may win if they meet this year.

Yes that is why Radek Stepanek could beat him in 1rd at FO last year. Federer is way more good on clay than Stepanek so who knows what will happen.

Federer would love to see Murray's second serve on clay. Andy would be destroyed.

Re: Will we ever see a Federer-Murray match on clay?

I have a weird feeling it will happen this year.

And give Murray a break, geez. He's performed well on clay these last few seasons, so why wouldn't he be able to win. Won masters titles beating clay GOAT in Madrid, Beat Nadal on the way to Madrid final last year, beat Djokovic in the Rome final, Beat Wawrinka in the SF at RG. All of these players actually do well on clay unlike Federer.

ANDY MURRAY

Hyeon Chung // Nick Kyrgios // Duck-hee Lee // Kyle Edmund

There is a possibility of it happening this year.

Murray has been a superior player on clay for the past 2 years. Federer won't get free points on his serve so Murray should win this.

Exactly. Mugray would absolutely crush Federer if they were to meet.

On a side note bragging about beating the clay GOAT in these last 2 years when he lost to Ferrer, Fognini as well

Those losses were before the rise of Clayray, which began in 2015. Loss to Ferrer was back in 2012. Murray owns Ferrer these days and won their last clay meeting.

I meant RAFA's loss to Ferrer and Fognini on clay in '15-'16. Funny how "Clayray" managed to rise when the likes of RAFA and Ferrer declined (coincidentally both straight setted "Clayray" at RG at some point)...
