Should Mario Ancic play doubles more often?

Mario Ancic is a good single player. We know that. He is top10 player in the world.

But, he has got just 2 single titles, and 4 doubles titles. He has won 2 double titles two weeks in a row partnering Indian Mahesh Bhupathi. Should he play doubles more often and win titles or should he play singles only?

It's obvious that he is tired. He lost in quarters of Mumbai, probably 'cause he was tired. My opinion is that he should play singles, and doubles maybe few times in a year. It doesn't bring much to him, and it makes him be tired.

No. Doubles are worthless, better focus only on singles.

Re: Should Mario Ancic play doubles more often?

he has to focus on singles. playing doubles took too much out of him because he has such a physically demanding game. that said, i think there are many things that doubles can help him work on and i think that it would be great if he played a limited doubles schedule. he and mahesh are an awesome team and i'm sure they would make the yec if they played together more often

my favorite was the worst number 3 player in the world
