Berdych vs Tursunov: Who will win?

Tomas Berdych and Dmitry Tursunov are contesting the Mumbai Open final.

Tomas is looking for his third ATP career title (after 2004 Palermo and 2005 Paris Masters) while Dmitry is aiming for his first ATP career title.

If Tomas wins, he will break into the Top 10 for the first time. If Dmitry wins, he will break into the Top 20 for the first time.

For the record, Berdych won their only match so far just a few weeks ago in the US Open in a close five-setter, 6-7(2) 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-4.

Re: Berdych vs Tursunov: Who will win?

I want Dima to win and get his first title, but I think that Tomas will get the win. I think it will be a three setter regardless of who wins.

I like a lot of players.

Re: Berdych vs Tursunov: Who will win?

I can't decide!! I really don't know. It should be an interesting match!

But either way they both have something to gain if they win, besides the title itself.

so why the final in 3?
Well, Dima has only played three set matches so it will be the irresistable force (not dropping a set) against the immovable object (only playing three set matches).

I like a lot of players.

Re: Berdych vs Tursunov: Who will win?

I really haven't a clue!

My sentimental favourite is Dima...and I have even more respect for him following his Davis Cup performance. I hope he claims his first title tomorrow

priceless.
My heart says Dima, my head says Tomas. So it is up to the gods.
