Cool The very courageous Ljubicic

Posting for the media in front of a tank in Bangkok and looked well at ease while Benjamin Becker looked like he rather at somewhere else.

Re: The very courageous Ljubicic

When did Benjamin Becker get to be worthy of meeting important people?

Just by beating a retiring player in his last tournament?

Who is that bald guy in the middle? I think I saw him at the draw ceremony in Munich.

Compared to the war that forced Ljubo's family move to Croatia when he was young, maybe this tank is just a piece of cake.

What to believe in, it's impossible to say?
What to believe in when they change your name, wash your brain, play the game again, yeah, yeah, yeah...

Re: The very courageous Ljubicic

Thailand Open top seed Ivan Ljubicic joined Germany’s Benjamin Becker in meeting Thai Princess Siriwannawari Naviratana – daughter of the Thai Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn – in Bangkok on Saturday.

The princess was presenting the new Thailand Open clothing line, which she has designed herself.

In the presence of the Princess, Ljubicic and Becker acted models as they participated in a fashion show wearing the newly designed line. The collection will be sold on-site at the Impact Arena during the Thailand Open and proceeds will go to the Star Alliance carrier Thai Airways’ charity, the “King’s Project”.

Ljubicic, currently No. 4 in the INDESIT ATP 2006 Race and a strong contender to qualify for Tennis Masters Cup Shanghai in November, said of the event: “It’s my first meeting with a royal so it was emotional. It was very formal and it was fantastic to see all the people being excited about it. I was also really excited and it was definitely emotional.”

“My Asian tour continues here after stops in Beijing and Shanghai. I like Asia and that is one of the reason I did all this. I’m really expecting a lot from Bangkok, it’s a beautiful city. It’s also great to see all the people being so nice and relaxed,” added the Croatian.

Re: The very courageous Ljubicic

Looks like Ivan is building some kind of fan base in Asia

first he went to the Great Wall of China
than he went to Shanghai to meet with ball kids and Special Olympics kids
and now this.

Ljubicic isn't afraid of the tanks. The tanks are afraid of Ivan.
