Previously I said I would not be a fan of Kyrgios anymore but I really hope he's turned the corner mentally because I like watching him play. Next up is Seppi. Hoping for another epic just like their match two years ago.
Kyrgios can only lose in this tournament to Murray, Djokovic, Dimitrov and Raonic. Forget about him losing to any other player. And he may even win it all.
Tremendously impressive against a mostly sub-par opponent. The groundstrokes and serve looked very polished, and Nick's movement and energy levels were better than I can remember seeing. Hopefully he keeps this up because he's one of the most watchable players in the draw.
This is why Kyrgios is slam material, can breeze through these early rounds no problem and save himself for the tough matches. I only wish Nishikori could do the same.
As much as he has the game his problem lies with toughing out the lulls during a match. I can't really recall him battling through a tough win in a large tournament now that he's regarded as a threat.
