i have a friend who's been playing since he was 7 (i'm 20 now)
i've never seen more than a handful of proffetional raquets, yet i know way better than he does how a wooden raquet behaves. he has a great serve, but can't name 5 S&V players. he was ranked in the top100 juniors in israel(not amazing, i know - but it's quite good) but can't tell me the last 5 people to beat federer.
stats, names, titles, rankings, wins, H2Hs - those are armchair spectator knowledge pearls. i don't need to play claycourts to know that petrova's game thrives on green clay, while mauresmo is better on quicker clay courts that lead up to RG.
youre point, to begin with lacks any basis.
as a fat-ass glued to the computer i know much more than people who enjoy playing, excersizing and competing in the game.
stupid posts are stupid with or without the member's tennis history.
for the record, i have a single handed BH as well :P
