1st week losing to Jordan Thompson, 2nd week losing to Haase in a deciding set Tiebreak. What's next, Ferrer?

I honestly think Baghdatis has a decent chance of capturing this title now

Ferrer is done.

Just keeps on going into bigger lows each week he plays. And to think Tomic lost to him

Saw the match, Haase was surprisingly calm.

I think you can't choke a match when it's a NID win against Marlboro these days.

Ferrer is barely a top 50 player these days. I think he won't be seeded for RG.

Ferrer's really struggling right now. If he fails to defend a substantial part of the 360 points that he got for reaching the Australian Open QF last year then his ranking could really drop and considering his current form, that looks likely.

A R1/R2 AO loss could see him drop out of top 30 depending on others

Man Ferrer is declining fast. He was seeded 8 at last year's AO.

Not really surprising IMO. It's common among players with very physical styles. Eventually the body goes and all of a sudden there's very little left.

Ferrer is still very fit. I think the problem started with his racket change last year trying to get more easy power with tradeoff on control, makes a lot of errors off standards shots and by a long way at times.

Has to be something more.

Ferrer's never been one to breeze through these matches 6-2 6-1. When his errors arise seems concerning, late in sets particularly
