Roger Federer, the most dangerous floater at the 2017 AO?

There's still this week for the rankings, but I think as of right now Rogie is to be the #17 seed at the 2017 AO (a lot of 17's; 2017, #17 ranking/seed, and.... 17 grand slams to his name). I honestly believe he's the most dangerous 17th seed possible in the AO. It will be very interesting to see where his name appears on the draw when the draw comes out on Friday January 13th. Yes, it would be interesting to see who he'd face rounds 1-4, QF, SF, and F. I can see him making a surprise QF here!

Federer is good at getting deep into the AO. Honestly if he loses early we should be worried

It is a no brainer that the player who has made the Semi's or better in 12 of the last 13 Australian Open's is a dangerous floater.

Re: Roger Federer, the most dangerous floater at the 2017 AO?

Seriously, how many other guys names will cause fear in their opponents as the #17 seed (among names around that number, Isner? Gasquet?)? Potentially there could be Rogie vs. Rafa in the 3rd round (Rafa is #9 and Rogie is #17). Rafa could potentially face someone like Djokovic or Mugray in the 4th round, the same for Rogie but in the *gulp* 3rd round. I'm saying we could be in for some very exciting early rounds at the 2017 AO. However, let's see how the draw plays out first!

Oh yes, a very dangerous floater indeed! There's going to be a lot of discussion once this draw comes out. This has the potential to be the most exciting draw in a long time for a men's grand slam!

F*cking Seppi ruined that great streak. Where is Seppi nowadays?

It wasn't so much Seppi that ruined the streak, but the bee which had the unmitigated audacity to sting Rogie! As a result his hand wasn't right and he couldn't grip the racket properly!

Nadal plays 5-8 in R4, no Djokoray for him. Federer can play Nadal in R3 but Djokoray only 1/4 chance in R4.

On topic, Federer is obviously the most dangerous of the players out of top 16, but in current form with his rust and age I think Dimitrov may be a similar threat to top players. It would be priceless if we ended up with a quarter consisting of Djokovic-Simon, Nishikori-Tomic, Nadal-Federer and Dimitrov-Ferrer.

Enjoy every moment of tennis. Enjoy the rise of the young, the brilliance of the peak, and the passion of the old. Enjoy dominance, enjoy diversity.

Fight. Drama. Shots. Epic matches, fun stats, tennis!

I guess many players are still afraid of Fed. I'm sure he is training hard.

I'd like to see him go far. To be honest 'the most dangerous floater' is just not right ...

Fed is not floating anything.

Baby Fed is now up too Number 15, so we could get this match (15 vs 17) early on too.
Both very dangerous floaters indeed.
