Of course. They know what are they doing and don't want to lose money making Murray the favorite and than people betting on Novak. NID.

The Rumors Of My Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated.

Shall we begin?

If Nadal wins it he'll have won it in 2009 and 2017.
That is one heck of a gap.

Most give them the same chance.

I think there are only 2-3 modes of Djokovic which would survive against that Nando.

Every single one of those books bans longterm winners, so you're not exactly talking sharp pricing.

Want a more reliably accurate price, look at pinnacle or betfair.

That's odd. Wondering if there is some weird statistical thing. Like Nola having the best odds to win the tournament base on previous results and being more consistent in earlier rounds. But you would think Murray would be the head-to-head favorite.

Looks pretty even to me looking at those odds, but yeah, after the weekend you would certainly put Novak Favorite no qualms from me.

No suprise here. Djokovic is the defending champion afterall holding 6 AO titles. Murray could have been considered the favorite before Doha, but Djokovic got rid of any doubts afterwards.

Andy has ever been outright fave going into a slam and yet has still won 3 so no worries. This is as close as it's ever been.

ANDY MURRAY
World #1

Hyeon Chung // Nick Kyrgios // Duck-hee Lee // Kyle Edmund

Wow, very surprising, I thought it was going to be Bautista Agut.

2008.

He would match Nadal winning RG in 2005 and 2014.

I hadn't realised that. Is that the biggest gap ever?

Firstly, Federer has a similar gap (Wim 03-12). Djokovic has to surpass Fedal in that regard, else he is stuck on 13 at most :P

Secondly, Sampras has the biggest gap in the Open era, obviously (shame on you for forgetting). 12 years between USO '90 and USO '02. That's really tough to beat. A good reminder that Sampras continues to hold a couple great records and statistics that the big 3 haven't sniffed.
