Rank Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic in likelihood of winning the Double Career GS....

As we all know, Rogie and Djokovic each need one FO and Rafa needs one AO. I'd say most likely is Djokovic, followed by Rafa, and then Rogie, but IMO neither Rafa nor Rogie will achieve it. It's up to Djokovic to win the FO, but this still won't make him the G.O.A.T.

Rogie winning the 2017 FO for example would be really shocking, whereas Rafa winning the 2017 AO would be a little less shocking, but Djokovic winning the 2017 FO is much more of a reality!

What are your thoughts?

Exactly the above: Federer has been a non factor in big clay tourneys since Rome '15, Nadal could still surprise us on slow hard (though he would/should like to avoid both Djoker and Murray) and Djokovic + Murray seemingly are the best claycourters these days.

Btw I'm writing this still in 2016.

If an old bald mug Rogie wins another FO while being 100 years old then the rest of the field should commit joint seppuku.

Djokovic is almost guaranteed to get another French. Federer might not ever play another French again.

Re: Rank Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic in likelihood of winning the Double Career GS..

Djokovic: 65%
Nadal: 20%
Federer: 5%

Federer skipped the slam that he needs to win, did poorly on clay in 2016, and clay -- of all three surfaces -- has always been the one that he didn't perform the best on. Not to mention that his ranking will make it harder to avoid the best players at slams. That certainly doesn't suggest that he's likely to win another one.

Nadal will always be among the group of players who can win it, but his past suggests otherwise. He has always been vulnerable to a random, in form player on hard. And in the last few years, that has been even truer. There's a chance, but an extremely small chance.

Djokovic? Well, he literally won it last and has always been great on clay. He's in a great position to win it again...possibly as early as next year.

Re: Rank Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic in likelihood of winning the Double Career GS..

given the highly unlikely scenario of Federer winning the FO again and the fact that Djokovic is pretty solid on all surfaces:

1. Djokovic
2. Nadal
3. Federer

ROGER FEDERER 04, 06, 07, 10, 17, 09, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 09, 12, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08

RAFAEL NADAL: 09, 05, 06, 07, 08, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 08, 10, 10, 13

NOVAK DJOKOVIC: 08, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 16, 11, 14, 15, 11, 15

Nadal and Federer are not winning any more slams, that is quite clear. Especially not their worse slam - AO for Nadal and FO for Federer.

So the only one who has a chance to do this is Novak of course. Hopefully he will be able to achieve it this year already.

You are talking BS. Djokovic is not going to win a GS. Three GOAT' will be slave to Murray. So he could win all GS this 2017 as he won against everyone the last 5 tournaments. Djokovic was scared to hit the ball stronger in F of WTF in London.
If all players can get united then they could help themselves otherwise ATP will become like Serena' WTA.

Pretty obvious question.

1. Djokovic
2. Nadal
3. Federer

And pretty much everyone who posted here agree with this order. it's honestly not up for a debate

DNF is the acronym to remember (which ironically could be read as "Did Not Finish", which is what they would fear happen to attempt that DCGS).

I will give Djokovic the best chance at doing this although he has mentally faded and can no longer perform on the french sands.

My sincere wishes to Nadal, may the new year bring him happiness and strength.

and of course Roger is always welcome to take another La Coupe des Mousquetaires
