Serena needs to give James some advice

At the US OPEN it was nice to see Serena watch one of James matches. They also hit together at the US OPEN. If James needs some advice I think he should talk to Serena. James is good friends with Serena and she can help him to become a champion. James simply is very mentally weak and Serena is not. Serena is a 7 time grand slam champion and she can teach James how to deal with pressure. James has a hard time dealing with expectations. Perhaps even a talk to Richard Williams will straighten James out. James is too passive and defenisve when asked about his mental state.

considering the girl played 4 tournaments in 2006, this is not quite a good way to compare.

Harder. Better. Faster. Tsonger.

Interesting thought. She sure has the sort of fighting/warrior type of mentality I believe James sometimes lacks, especially on the biggest stages. Maybe they HAVE talked about it, we'll never know.

I'm not Serena's biggest fan but........ Serena's slams..... James's slams..... right.

edit: LOL Danielle, great minds

As long as she defeats and traumatizes Daniella, I reckon it's all good . Serena can definitely help James.
He hardly deal with pressure...I'm even about to wonder if this guy his really american

Re: Serena needs to give James some advice

I don't think he wants to take advice from someone who could be dominating the game, but prefers to skip most tournaments and refuses to work.

She is mentally tough, when she's physically able to compete.

Rooting for: Roddick | Federer | Blake| Fish | Bryans | Gasquet | Querrey | Baghdatis | Verdasco | Kimmy
Missing: Andre | Safin | Women's tennis

What's with people here and attacking another's favorite (which it might not even be, it's a friggin' avatar). Trying to make a cheap shot at a random tennis player in an attempt to criticize the user? Lot of people on MTF do it, too. Get some new material, people. You really are a "know it all."

On another note, James needs to figure out the mental dimension of the game himself.

Q. I saw you yesterday. You were quite nervous when you were playing against Di Mauro. Is yourself the worst opponent sometimes?

GASTON GAUDIO: Myself?

Q. Yes, because you have a negative attitude sometimes.

GASTON GAUDIO: I think that always myself is my worst opponent. I always playing against myself first and then to the other one. So I'm playing against two guys during the match (smiling).

Q. You cannot do anything about it?

GASTON GAUDIO: Imagine how good I am, that I play against two (laughing).
