Re: Who would win this tournament ?

Your forgot obviously Zabaleta '06 and Andre Sa '02. Without these two, no "all star tournament" makes sense.

Re: Who would win this tournament ?

I was going to make a dig at this thread because it is so silly but seeing as the first post is designed so nicely with an ATP lay-put and all the least I can do is make an inoccuous response.

RED GROUP

Sampras def. Rosewall 6-0 6-0. Rosewall's racquet cannot handle Sampras serves.
McEnroe def. Borg 6-2 6-3. Borg is not used to rebound ace having not frequented the AO.
Borg def. Rosewall 6-2 6-0. Rosewall's racquet cannot even handle Borg.
Sampras def. McEnroe 7-5 6-0. McEnroe throws a tantrum when Sampras serves bigger than his own racquet allows and stops trying halfway through the match.
McEnroe def. Rosewall 7-5 6-0. Rosewall gets to serve first and gets a game but then his racquet breaks in the tenth game.
Sampras def. Borg 7-5 6-4. Borg has learned to play on rebound ace but it turns out that Sampras is just a little better.

GOLD GROUP

Federer def. Laver 6-0 6-0. Laver hits first serves at 100 MPH and gets eaten alive.
Connors def. Wilander 7-6 6-7 6-0. After losing the second set breaker Wilander tells Connors he has no balls and Connors gets angry.
Federer def. Wilander 6-4 6-0. Federer is angry at a previous no balls comment and rips Wilander apart.
Connors def. Laver 7-5 6-0. Laver fights through the first set but then realises he is is over 60 years old and is at no age to play tennis.
Federer def. Connors 3-6 6-3 6-3. Federer cannot play someone with balls but then realises he can't even serve over 120 and rips him a new one.
Wilander def. Laver 6-0 6-0. Laver is still in shock at realising his age and doesn't try.

SEMI FINALS

Federer def. McEnroe 6-2 6-0. Federer likes beating up on brats and McEnroe turns out to be a little old as well.
Sampras def. Connors 7-5 6-4. Sampras could win easily but he prefers to only break at times which will make the scoreline 7-5, 6-4.

FINAL

Federer def. Sampras. 5-5 ret. Both players are holding serve easily when suddenly Lars Graff over-rules a serve by Federer and Sampras refuses to play on.

Champions deserve whatever they win playing within the laws of the game
