Who is more talented: Davydenko or Kafelnekov?

After watching both play and seeing how similiar their styles are, who do you think is/was the better player, Davy or Kafelnekov? I think they are pretty much tied...what do you think?

Well, I hope nobody uses Kolya's SF performance as a reason, remember Kafelnikov's SF match vs. Hewitt in 2001, one of the most shameful ever.

Re: Who is more talented: Davydenko or Kafelnekov?

There are reasons why Davydenko is called the Poor Mans Kafelnikov.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I was there and that was indeed one shameful performance. Kafelnikov might have won like 7 rallies in the entire match.

Yup.

Wonder if Davy will show up in Bejing like the true road warrior he is?

This question may be asked only from people who did not see Kafelnikov play at his best.

Yevgeny is one of the most gifted.

Davy doesn't hold a candle, but I do admire his fighting spirit, something Yevgeny lacks sometimes.
