I hope he beats Federer! It would make me LOVE Roddick forever! It would also be something we haven't experience in awhile, someone other than Federer or Nadal winning a slam! OHHMYGOOODD!

GO ANDY! :yippee:  :rocker2:

Oh well, even if Andy wins, he will be attacked on this board.

In fact, he'll be attacked even more. :) :)
In fact just look at the Rodick Bashing Threads that have shown up lately and you will realise that Roddick is in winning form ;)

Do you not watch tennis? Just because he tries to keep a poker face on court doesn't mean he isn't emotional when winning. Did you not watch the AO this year?

How can you say Federer shows no emotion? Don't you remember those tears in Australia during his speech?

Roger shows emotion during his matches. He just doesn't look cocky and arrogant over winning a good point. Why should anyone do that? It's stupid.

Yes, exactly. Roger has a lot of emotion inside and that's been obvious. Keeping a poker face is simply a smart tactic. Besides they've been there and done all of this for along time. Hitting one particularly good shot or winning a nice rally is deserving of a little smile and then back to business.

Besides......that it seems on one hand if Roger ever loses a title he's treated as if he's a worthless hasbeen. Then if he wins another title people will say it's not right tha the wins EVERYTHING. Actually Roger has had to win this much to retain his #1 ranking.

GO ROGER ! I'd like for Roger to win because he has put in the hard work of being consistently good all year. I want Roger to remain #1 at the year end and definding the USOpen title will help him do that.

Also if Roger wins I think he will be the only person in the open era to have won 3 majors in two separate calendar years? I hope the pressure of setting this kind of record won't prevent Roger from playing his best.

GO ROGER !!!!

(By they way.....nice objective polling language there.)
