Davis Cup SF: Russia vs USA

The DC SF is coming up soon....your thoughts on which team will win this one.

(Not sure if this poll has been done b4, but oh well)

I'm finding it quite hard to choose on which team to root for so we'll see...

I'm pretty sure it's being held on clay, and that means Russia will likely win. They have Davydenko and Safin.

If from the USA then the USA.

If not then Russia.

Russia should win.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

Re: Davis Cup SF: Russia vs USA

We have a thread for this.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

I think Russia will win.

God knows Andy is shaky on clay and Blake can't win pressure matches.

Russa 3-2
