THe tournament organizers planned this from the very beginning

dont give Rog any night matches on center court so that if James made it to the quarters his first center court night match would be in front of a crowd rooting against him.

nice try ;D

I believe Roger was scheduled for a night match at least once earlier that had to be rescheduled due to rain.

Um, Roger was offered to play his R1 match at night on Ashe and refused. Was also offered to play his R3 night match on Ashe instead of Armstong and chose Armstrong.

Re: THe tournament organizers planned this from the very beginning

both Rog and the tournament organizers knew it might rain those nights. THey knew Rog would want to get on court earlier to get his matches over with before the rain came so they ask him knowing he would refuse the night match just so they can say they at least offered.

they're a tricky bunch ;D

And you knew about this all along, before the Open even started, but decided to keep it to yourself just so that it will be a surprise to all of us when it does happen, right? ;D

I think those big TV networks like NBC, CBS, ABC, etc should hire you as weatherman as you're soooo good in predicting weather.

Re: THe tournament organizers planned this from the very beginning

I've heard that for the final against Roddick, they're going to put a chair that's really uncomfortable and promotes back spasms on Roger's side of the court for the changeovers. Also, whenever Roger's on one side of the court, they're going to open up the players tunnel door to create adverse wind conditions for Roger. If that's not enough, they're going to rig the Shot Spot technology to favor Roddick on every challenge. In spite of all this, Roger still manages to win another title.
