Does Davydenko have any friends?

Ok now this is a serious question and not just an attempt at a cheap shot (well, maybe a little one.....)

- He never has more than 2 people in his box, and one is his brother/coach.

- I know you get the little groups on tour, the Spaniards seem to hang together, and the Argies. But you get the feeling Safin might be a bit cool for him

- He has about as much personality as a plank of wood.

- He's bald, ugly, and from Ukraine

- He's like a robot. He doesn't talk, doesn't show any emotion or do anything apart from bash balls away at the back of a tennis court.

So the question has to be asked, does anyone know if he has any friends?

Re: Does Davydenko have any friends?

I'm not a particular fan of Davydenko but after his great effort today I'd feel a bit of an asshole to take a swipe at him now - he was very impressive.

So I'll wait, and respond tomorrow

Nah...as long as he's happy with his life who am I to criticise?

Re: Does Davydenko have any friends?

oh that's cold

I think he's adorable! And I think the not talking thing is the language barrier. He just seems shy, but pretty likable to me. kolya!

Team Rafa or Team Roger? Team Nole or Team Berdych? Declare Yourself Now!

I can just imagine Marat having a beer with him

If ever I've seen 2 opposite personalities, that would be it

I have no friends, but this was not the question.

Re: Does Davydenko have any friends?

you'd be surprised he even has a girlfriend
And him, marat and all the russian guys get along very well People who know him say he's a very funny guy (including tursunov). I believe them. He just does his business when he's on court.

Well, actually when Marat is asked who he is friends with on the tour he mentions davydenko too, between others, so but basically he seems more like a lonely guy...

Goooo SAFIN ~ BERDYCH ~ MURRAY ~ SIMON ~ NALBANDIAN ~ SODERLING

Yes, but based on your post it was not exactly an objective question.

Re: Does Davydenko have any friends?

The commentators here were totally making fun of him and his coach/brother. In one of the last points, they said something like "now his brother will raise an eyebrow in an attempt to motivate Nikolay"

Allow me to manipulate the question a little? how many friends 'll he have if he reaches the final this year?

But to answer ur question, he just seems to be a quiet person, this doesn't mean he has no friends. At least i think so.
