Blake v. Federer

He's 0 and 4 but no one beats James Blake 5 times in a row!!

(Except Andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewitt)

Certainly James has the game, and he looked the best I have seen him all tourney yesterday.

I say, James in 5.

Blake in 3, maybe 4. I'm not joking by the way.

J-Block will inspire him to victory

As much as i would love Blake to win this i doubt he will. Maybe he will get a set and i hope its close but i cant see Federer NOT getting into the final

Re: Blake v. Federer

If blake is playing he can beat Fed in 5.

But he does not have the mentality to beat the self proclaimed God of tennis and will probably start worshipping him after the first set.

We need one of the real competitors to beat Fed, the 5 left are too afraid of Fed to realize his weaknesses.

Fed wins another tournament because his opponents are wusses, what else is new.

The ATP deserves a better class of player, and I'm gonna give it to 'em - Djoker

Re: Blake v. Federer

It would be an absolute shocker if Blake beats Fed. Fed's too close to the finals and he wouldn't let anyone get past him to get there, I'm sure. And bcoz, I'm also hoping for a Fed-Roddick final so that Rod can finally beat Fed's ass!

Blake doesn't win 5 set matches. He'll win in 3 though.

Roger must realise it's not another punk, it's No 5. seed and he'll have all the crowd support. He'll take it in 3 or 4 sets

Re: Blake v. Federer

Would like to see J-Block do some damage, but I'm afraid I had to vote Roger straights.

This is true, but I'm more than a little skeptical of his chances. Roger's just too good.

Is it really James you want winning this match or is it the Federer-roddick final you don't want?!

Am I really that transparent.

No no, I think James is great. Woot woot! I am not even thinking about a Blake vs. Roddick final and what that would do for American tennis and how awesome that would rock and how much I would like Roddick's chances against James as opposed to his chances against Roger....

haha, In all seriousness...It would be cool if James won his first 5 setters against Roger though. That would totally shut the critics up. Sides no one had this thread...figured why not. I will put my nick on the line and pick James in 5.
