Re: Haas or Davydenko?

davydenko all the way if it wasn't for safin playing like crap in the 4th set and TB haas would have lost already...

davydenko is one of the most consistent and hardworking players on tour and he can play some excellent tennis as shown in the semifinal against federer at aus. open.

3 straight sets davydenko

safin! in my dreams

Marat: Last question: what do you think of me? Dinara: You are my god! When you play, I love
to see you. When you lose, I am even sadder than when it is me. When you are wounded, I suffer.
When you speak to me, I drink your words. When you come to see me playing, I am with the angels.

Re: Haas or Davydenko?

Davydenko is solid enough to handle Haas, He could be the only living russian after next round.

Re: Haas or Davydenko?

I question Haas's fitness...was visibly stuggling against Ginepri and was given another brutal test by Safin...and his form hasn't been great either.

I have been waiting for a player who, on paper, has a chance of beating Davydenko...and I have yet to find one! I felt that Gonzo and Safin were best placed to do it...but they didn't even survive to play him...looks like Captain Nikolay has had quite a lot of luck thus far, and a tired and inconsistent Haas is the only thing standing in his way of a SF place.

Davydenko anyone?

Re: Haas or Davydenko?

Davydenko needs to make the match last as long as possible. Haas can surely not survive more than three sets.

Re: Haas or Davydenko?

Two good players that go by practicaly unoticed, especially Davydenko. Both are good, but I think Davydenko will win this one in a tight 4 setter.
