The Rain Haters Thread!!! (Weather Updates/Complaining)

If you hate rain as much as I do, please post in here!

How many times has play been suspended so far?

Re: The Rain Haters thread

lol Naldo, yea, I like it sometimes because it grows food for me, and gives me water so I can stay alive and that's pretty cool. Not living isn't cool, so I guess rain is ok! I just wish it wouldn't rain and screw up tennis is all I mean. I think play was cancelled 3 times today, and how many times yesterday. I wanna keep track of this.

Re: The Rain Haters thread

Yeah rain disrupting play really blows. Other than that I like rain, I think I might go outside and have a rain dance, seeing as there's no tennis on anymore.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: The Rain Haters thread

That way, if have an exact number of the times play was cancelled, I can send the weather god a pitition saying we will boycott him/her and play inside unless they change their evil weather ways.

Re: The Rain Haters thread

I hate the rain, and I hate the way the schedulers deal with it. Starting matches at 1pm on show courts and 12pm elsewhere, on days when rain is forecast, is incredibly myopic. But they do it every year.

Smarten up you stodgy fools: 11am is the time, K?

Re: The Rain Haters thread

my thoughts exactly, BaselineSmash. Even 10am is realistic!

What's worse is that tomorrow is supposed to be even worse. Then they'll be a whole round behind for the bottom half.

Re: The Rain Haters thread

I had an orgasm when Andy walked onto center court. I had an even bigger orgasm when the rain came down.

With each passing season, I discover new reason
SAMPRAS --> Rios --> KUERTEN --> Kafelnikov -->
Federer --> Hewitt --> RODDICK --> GONZALEZ -->
NALBANDIAN --> Benneteau --> Davydenko --> Mathieu -->
TURSUNOV --> Mantilla --> KIEFER --> NADAL -->
Karlovic --> Odesnik --> Stepanek --> Monfils -->
??

Oliver Cromwell lay buried and dead. Hee-haw. Buried and dead.
