It's foolish to make a stadium that resembles a scummy pool during thunderstorms.
I guess it's a "friendly atmosphere" to have the sun heat up the crowd too.
They can't put a cheap cover over the stadium, but they could afford those slow court dryers.
Rain poured from the black sky & there was still denial that a match wasn't possible at midnite. No wonder tennis gets no respect.
I know!! It is so ridiculous how they dry the courts it makes me so frustrated, and last year they were reduced to drying the courts on hands and knees with towels?
By the time they do allllllllllll of that it starts raining again! whats up with them!
And really to let all that water fall all over the court and stadium...
